Some 93 percent of the war refugees are Ukrainian, 1 percent are Polish and the remaining 6 percent represent around 100 other countries, the agency said, as cited by public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency.

On Tuesday, 125,800 people crossed into Poland from Ukraine, with a further 33,500 refugees arriving by 7am on Wednesday morning, the Border Guard said.

Refugees have been fleeing to Poland ever since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.
