More than 400 scouts needed to be evacuated from camps. Over 36 thousand homes remained without electricity in the aftermath of the storms. More than 150 buildings were damaged.

Poland's Fire Service informed of over 2100 interventions.

As rains and thunderstorms proceeded through the country, worst struck was the mid-southern Małopolska (Lesser Poland) region, where fire services were called out some 1200 times, and also central Mazovia (over 330 interventions). Most interventions came from the city of Kraków and its suburbs, suffering most damage.

Meteorological warnings of thunderstorms and hailstorms remained in place until the early hours of the morning for the highland areas southernmost part of the Małopolska region. Weather services say that the line of thunderstorms has now passed Poland.

The end of the week had been exceptionally hot in Poland, with temperatures rising to 38 Celsius in places.
