The gathering, known as the Cabinet Council, will be held at the presidential palace in Warsaw on February 13, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Duda said on Thursday that the meeting would focus on "steps that need to be taken to address the challenges we encounter in the country's development."

He added: "We will have the opportunity to convene and discuss in a composed manner how the government views these investment initiatives, how it intends to carry them out, what steps have already been taken and what kind of action we can expect to see in the future."

Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed on Thursday that he and his Cabinet ministers would attend the meeting, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
