He told Polish Radio that only cutting Vladimir Putin off a steady flow of cash from the West can put an end to the war in Ukraine.
According to Jabłoński, European countries must face the costs of such sanctions now, to stop Russia from future acts of aggression.
“We should not be delusional, we cannot avoid these costs,” he added.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is to discuss the sanctions with European leaders, during his trip to London and Oslo on Tuesday, amid the continuing Russian invasion of Ukraine, news agencies reported.
