Andrzej Duda hosted Dmytro Kuleba late on Thursday as the Russian invasion of Ukraine continued for the fifteenth day.

Kuleba later tweeted his gratitude to the Polish president “for enhancing military, financial & humanitarian aid for Ukraine,” public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Poland’s Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau also met with his Ukrainian counterpart, and the two top diplomats agreed that pressure must be stepped up on Russia to end its aggression against Ukraine.

Kuleba also thanked Rau for Poland’s support for Ukrainian refugees escaping the Russian invasion, according to IAR.

Ukraine’s foreign minister stopped in Warsaw on his way back from ceasefire talks with the Russian diplomacy chief Sergei Lavrov in Antalya, Turkey.

After the meeting in Antalya, Kuleba said Lavrov had failed to promise the creation of a humanitarian corridor out of the besieged city of Mariupol. The talks produced no breakthrough on a ceasefire, either, he added, according to IAR.

Thursday was day fifteen of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24.
