Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland since 1952, died on Thursday, aged 96.
Poland's President Andrzej Duda said that "she will be missed and remembered in Poland and all over the world."
Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki hailed Queen Elizabeth II as "an icon, a symbol of the power, culture and tradition of the United Kingdom, beloved by the British people."
Queen Elizabeth II visited Poland in 1996, telling the Polish parliament that “Europe needs Poland.”
