The country's latest aid package for Ukraine still needs to be officially confirmed, but the decision has already been made, Polish state news agency PAP reported on Friday, citing Belgian daily newspaper Le Soi.

According to Ukraine's Militarnyi online news service, Belgium intends to provide Ukraine's armed forces with AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles, which can be used as anti-aircraft missiles as part of the NASAMS system.

Plans also include the transfer of small arms, ammunition and a number of launchers for the Mistral air defense system, the mil.in.ua website reported.

Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Belgium has delivered assault rifles, machine guns, rocket launchers, anti-tank grenade launchers, and anti-tank missiles, sending military equipment worth a total of EUR 90 million, according to Defence Minister Ludivine Dedonder, as cited by the euractiv.com website.

Friday is day 338 of Russia's war against Ukraine.
