Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many US states have made it possible to vote early, by mail or in person - and people are taking advantage, with reports indicating hours-long queues at polling stations in many places.

Among those who have already cast their ballots are many Polish Americans. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, almost 10 million Americans claim Polish ancestry, which is about 3 percent of the country’s population.

Many of them live in places that proved important in Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory. Does that mean that their votes will be equally significant in the 2020 election?
