EUR 600 million trade deficit for Poland in 2021: stats office

Poland ended last year with a foreign trade deficit of around EUR 600 million, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported.

Poland’s exports totaled EUR 285.8 billion in 2021 as a whole, while imports were worth EUR 286.4 billionthe government-run statistics agency said.

Poland’s largest export markets were Germany, the Czech Republic and France, while Germany, China and Russia were the country’s largest import markets.

In 2020, Poland's foreign trade showed a surplus oEUR 10.5 billion, according to the statistical office.
