Around 161,300 housing units were completed nationwide between the start of January and the end of September, the office said.
It added that the number of housing starts during this time, at around 138,900 in total, was 15.7 percent lower than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, overall output in Poland’s construction-and-assembly sector increased by 11.5 percent in September in year-on-year terms, while rising 11.4 percent month on month, the state-run statistics agency also reported.
Builders completed around 238,600 new homes in Poland last year, 1.7 percent more than in 2021, Statistics Poland estimated earlier this year.
