In all, 18,499,527 air travellers used Warsaw's Chopin Airport last year, public broadcaster Polish Radio's IAR news agency reported.
Monthly figures ranged from 1,119,953 in February to 1,935,714 in July, according to officials.
The 2023 total represents 98% of Chopin Airport's best-ever result, recorded in 2019 before the pandemic, the authorities said.
Transit travellers represented 26% of passengers handled last year.
Of the 18.5 million passengers serviced in 2023, over 11.4 million travelled within the European Union's passport-free Schengen zone.
The Warsaw aerodrome handled a record 2.6 million charter-flight passengers last year.
Overall, the top five destinations in 2023 were London, Paris, Antalya, Amsterdam and Frankfurt, the IAR news agency reported.
The five most popular airlines used by travellers flying from Warsaw's Chopin Airport were LOT, Wizz Air, Enter Air, Lufthansa and Smartwings, according to officials.
