Brussels announced its decision on Friday, Polish Radio's IAR news agency reported.
Poland's government had applied for the EU consent before Christmas.
Under the package, the authorities in Warsaw will release EUR 230 million to help Poland's corn growers cover the losses caused by Russia's February 2022 invasion of Ukraine, the IAR news agency reported.
The EU's commissioner for agriculture, Janusz Wojciechowski, told Polish Radio that Brussels had approved a total of EUR 4 billion in Poland's state aid to farmers since Russia invaded Ukraine.
The assistance has also been addressed to Polish wheat producers and designed to help with fuel costs, among other aims, the IAR news agency reported.
Monday is day 698 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
