The analysis, which drew on aggregated customer data, highlighted that women prefer to save rather than spend on credit and invest more cautiously.

The report underscored the persistent salary disparity, with men earning 17.6 percent more on average than women across various sectors. This gap translates into Polish women receiving nearly PLN 800 (EUR 186) less than their male counterparts, with the difference widening among older age groups.

Despite having less disposable income, women demonstrate a stronger inclination towards building financial stability, with a higher percentage maintaining over PLN 1,000 (EUR 232) in savings and deposit accounts.

Moreover, women's use of credit products is notably lower than men's, indicating a more conservative approach to financial risk.

Additionally, the study found that women are keen adopters of modern banking technologies and manage their finances with a slightly different focus, spending more on beauty and clothing, while men allocate more to automotive and travel expenses.
