In the survey, carried out by pollster CBOS for Polish state news agency PAP, 49 percent of respondents said their country should never replace the domestic zloty currency with the euro.
Meanwhile, 13 percent said Poland should join the eurozone within the next three years, and 22 percent said this should happen sometime during the next decade.
An additional 10 percent of those surveyed said Poland should delay switching to the euro until at least 10 years from now, and 6 percent were undecided, the PAP news agency reported.
When joining the European Union 20 years ago, Poland committed to replacing its domestic currency with the common European currency.
The survey was conducted between May 20 and 23 through computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) on a nationwide sample of 1,000 respondents.
