The landmark pact, signed on Monday by Poland’s Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transportation and Logistics Services, Saleh Al-Jasser, is anticipated to boost economic and travel opportunities.

Both LOT Polish Airlines and Saudi national carriers are set to commence services under the agreement's framework.

"Today ends a long era where our carriers were limited in forging direct routes between Poland and Saudi Arabia. Depending on external airlines, particularly from neighboring countries, is now in our past," Adamczyk told a press conference.
