The reading was in line with a forecast by economists polled by state news agency PAP.
Poland's gross domestic product expanded by 0.5 percent in the third quarter of last year, after shrinking 0.6 percent in the second quarter and contracting 0.3 percent in the first quarter, according to the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency.
The Polish statistics office is expected to report full fourth-quarter data on February 29.
In 2023 as a whole, Poland's gross domestic product grew 0.2 percent, according to a preliminary estimate released by Statistics Poland at the end of last month.
Poland's President Andrzej Duda in late January signed into law the country’s budget for 2024, which expects the economy to grow 3 percent this year.
