Police spokesman Mariusz Ciarka said people who are afraid of becoming infected with COVID-19 are particularly vulnerable to the scam.
He stressed it will be the government that will inform Poles about how vaccines will be distributed, rather than anonymous private individuals.
"This is the only official source," Ciarka said.
Poland’s prime minister said on Wednesday his country could start vaccinations – which would be free – in February.
Mateusz Morawiecki told reporters Poland had placed orders for 45 million doses with companies such as Pfizer/BioNTech, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson.
Poland on Thursday reported 14,838 new coronavirus infections and 620 more deaths, bringing its total number of cases to 1,028,610 and fatalities to 18,828.
