Wieczorek, from Gdynia, began attending medical school classes at age 10. At 14, she and Diana Serjant developed a biodegradable fertilizer using Rhizobium bacteria strains that does not degrade soil.
She is now working on an app to help detect and diagnose skin lesions and on using stem cells to fight Parkinson’s disease.
