Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk said Poland’s road safety record is one of the poorest in Europe.

His deputy, Rafał Weber, added that the money from Brussels would be used for educational campaigns.

Poland will receive the extra funds from the European Union under an agreement signed between the country’s infrastructure ministry and the Centre for EU Transport Projects, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
