The Polish goal machine, who plays for Bayern and also captains Poland’s national squad, found the back of the net in the 20th, 50th and 75th minutes of the game.
Lewandowski has scored five goals from two games in the German Bundesliga this season and leads the table among the division’s top scorers.
Lewandowski was in May crowned the top scorer of Germany's Bundesliga premier league in the 2018/2019 season, his fourth such trophy since he began playing in Germany in 2010.
The Pole in March became the highest-scoring foreign player of all time in the Bundesliga, moving ahead of Peruvian Claudio Pizarro.
