Polish wrestlers win European medals on home mat

Poles earned two medals, a silver and a bronze, on day two of the European wrestling championships, which are being held in Warsaw this week.

Poland’s Krzysztof Bieńkowski won silver in the men’s 65 kg freestyle, while countryman Radosław Baran took bronze in the 97 kg freestyle on Tuesday.

About 400 wrestlers from 39 countries, both men and women, are competing for medals at the 2021 European Wrestling Championships, which run in the Polish capital from April 19 to 25.
