Grbić succeeds Belgian Vital Heynen, whose contract as coach of the Poland men's squad has expired and has not been extended, officials said on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Lavarini replaces Jacek Nawrocki, who has resigned as coach of the Polish women’s national volleyball team.

The contracts with the new coaches are until the end of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS) said in a statement.
