Linette defeated Italy’s Camilla Giorgi 5-7, 7-5, 6-4 in the championship match on Saturday.
Japan’s Naomi Osaka tops the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) ranking, followed by Australia’s Ashleigh Barty and Czech Karolina Pliskova.
Linette is currently the second-highest ranked Polish woman in the WTA ranking. Iga Świątek is four positions higher, ranked 49th.
On Tuesday, Linette plays a US Open match against Australia’s Astra Sharma.
Linette has also advanced significantly in the Race to Shenzhen standings, which will select the top eight singles players and doubles teams for the WTA Finals tournament in November.
Moving up from 70th spot, Linette entered the top 50 and is currently 43rd in the Race to Shenzhen standings. Meanwhile, Świątek dropped by two spots to 45th. Barty remains in the lead, ahead of Romania’s Simona Halep and Pliskova.
