The player’s manager was quoted as saying on Sunday that the 21-year-old "has no fever and is feeling good.”

Szymański has earned five international caps and scored one goal as a midfielder with the Polish national team.

Two other Dynamo Moscow players have also tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, Polish broadcaster TVP Sport reported on Sunday.

In mid-March, Polish defender Bartosz Bereszyński, who plays for Italian outfit Sampdoria, announced he had contracted the COVID-19 coronavirus.

He has since recovered from the illness after experiencing only mild symptoms, according to Polish sports website sportowefakty.wp.pl.
