The 2020 edition of the festival was to be held under the motto of FREEDOM as it referred to events that had been so momentous in the history of Gdańsk, Poland and the world. But the pandemic forced the festival to be rescheduled to 2021 - as the organizers say, with Freedom still on its banners but under a motto of FUTURE.
PEACE was the main theme of the ninth edition of Solidarity of Arts festival and in this High Note we are going back to that festival and to the conversations with the great artists who had come for the grand gala performance of Beethoven's Fidelio at the European Solidarity Centre on the anniversary of the Gdańsk Accords.
