These makeshift centers, known as “Points of Invincibility,” have helped over 67,000 during a time when Russian air strikes deprived many Ukrainians of basic necessities.
On November 21, the Ministry of Health announced that all hospitals would have Points of Invincibility in case of a complete power outage.
On November 22, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the deployment of the Points of Invincibility network in all populated areas of the country.
In recent weeks, Ukraine has rolled out more such help stations, christened with a name of defiance and resistance, as places where residents facing outages of power, heating and water can warm up, charge their phones, enjoy snacks and hot drinks, and even be entertained.
