Wrapping up over the weekend, with a USD 200,000 total prize fund, the event featured five tour players along with five wildcards, among them Poland's chess star Jan Krzysztof Duda.
The winner was Hans Niemann, one of the great hopes for American chess, currently rated in the top twenty players in the world, while the reigning world champion Gukesh Dommaraju of India had to be content with a sixth-place finish.
