Zelensky told the nation that he visited Ukraine's East Air Force Command on Sunday to discuss "the protection of the skies over the Dnipropetrovsk region."
He said: "The threat remains constant and severe, as Russia views the region as one of its primary targets for terrorist attacks, specifically targeting our enterprises and our economic potential."
Zelensky also told Ukrainians that he visited the city of Kryvyi Rih to hold a meeting "on energy and water supply for the cities and villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region." The meeting focused on the "protection of energy facilities, reinforcement of mobile firing groups, air defense, and electronic warfare," he said.
The Ukrainian president thanked all those who have been working to restore power supply after Russian attacks, the Ukrinform news agency reported.
