Nearly 3.212 million refugees have come into Poland from Ukraine since Russia's invasion, the Polish Border Guard have reported. On Friday, some 24,500 refugees from Ukraine entered the country, and another 7,100 before 7 a.m. on Saturday, the Polish Border Guard informed.
The agency said 19,000 had left Poland for Ukraine.
Meanwhile Border Guard in the Lublin voivodship said that since February 24 some 1.4 million people had crossed the border from Ukraine to Poland. The Polish-Ukrainian border in this voivodship is 296 kilometres long, with four crossings: Dorohusk, Hrebenne, Dołhobyczów and Zosin. Crossings for heavy vehicles are at Hrebenne and Dorohusk, and rail traffic goes through Dorohusk and Hrubieszów. Local border guard informed that over the past 24 hours, 10,250 people entered Poland via these crossings.
