Russia lost 31,250 soldiers in Ukraine: report

The Russian army has lost some 31,250 troops and 1,386 tanks during its invasion of Ukraine, officials in Kyiv said on Monday.

The latest statistics were released by The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

Russia loses 31,250 soldiers, 1,386 tanks, 211 aeroplanes

In a Facebook post, Ukraine’s army said that the Russian invaders had lost some 31,250 servicemen (including around 100 on Sunday), 1,386 tanks (five on Sunday) and 3,400 armoured personnel vehicles (eight on Sunday).

Russia has also suffered the loss of 690 artillery systems, 211 aircraft and 551 unmanned aerial vehicles, among other destroyed equipment, Ukraine said.

Monday is day 103 of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
