Kaczmarek finished runner-up among a formidable field of competitors last weekend, clocking in at 50.29 seconds, the fastest season-opening time of her career, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic claimed the victory in Xiamen on Saturday, with a time of 50.08 seconds, while Britton Wilson of the United States finished third in 51.26.

As she prepares for the Paris Olympics, Poland's Kaczmarek is set to further test her form at the World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas next month.

In August, shortly after the 2024 Olympic Games in France, Poland is due to host a Diamond League meeting in the southern city of Chorzów.

In August last year, Kaczmarek took the silver in the women’s 400 metres at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.

Kaczmarek's outdoor accomplishments include an Olympic gold medal in the mixed 4x400m relay and a silver in the women's 4x400m at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
