According to Onet.pl, Nawrocki – who presents himself as an independent but is officially backed by the right-wing opposition party Law and Justice (PiS) – failed to disclose his full assets. The outlet found that Nawrocki owns two apartments, not one as he claimed during a debate ahead of this year’s presidential election.
Land registry records show that both properties are located in Gdańsk, in northern Poland.
The PiS-backed presidential candidate is said to have purchased one of the apartments with his wife using a mortgage, while the couple had acquired a studio apartment in the same city five years earlier. The tenant of the studio was reportedly an elderly man, Jerzy Ż. Onet journalists claim that his neighbors have not seen him at the property for many months, as noted on TVN24.
Nawrocki's MBA and English courses funded with public money
Earlier, Radio ZET reported that funds from the institution led by Karol Nawrocki were used to finance part of his education at the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk.
A total of 60,000 PLN (approximately 14,024 EUR or 15,851 USD) was allocated for his studies, with nearly 37,000 PLN (around 8,649 EUR or 9,775 USD) spent on English language courses and 23,000 PLN (roughly 5,376 EUR or 6,076 USD) covering the cost of an MBA diploma at Gdańsk University of Technology. Nawrocki reportedly did not pay for part of these studies out of his own pocket.
PiS-backed candidate Nawrocki linked to gangsters, pimps and neo-Nazi biker gang
Media attention has also focused on Karol Nawrocki’s links to criminal figures, including Olgierd L. - a convicted pimp and violent offender with neo-Nazi affiliations, known by the alias "Olo" - who is a member of the Bandidos motorcycle gang. Europol and U.S. law enforcement agencies have accused the group of arms trafficking, murder, and cooperation with drug cartels.
A global gathering of the gang, the “Bandidos National Run,” was planned for this summer in Mysłowice, a town in southern Poland. However, after inquiries from Onet.pl, the city withdrew its approval for the event. As the outlet noted, Olgierd L., whose name appeared in a report related to PiS presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki, is affiliated with the gang.
Nawrocki, a former amateur boxer who worked as a bodyguard at the Grand Hotel in Sopot during his university years, reportedly maintains close ties with former boxing associates and individuals he met during that time - including known gang members, pimps, and football hooligans.
Opponents of Nawrocki from the Civic Coalition (Koalicja Obywatelska) have highlighted in one of their latest campaign ads that one of Nawrocki's associates is Patryk Masiak, also known by the nicknames "Wielki Bu" or "Buła." Masiak is a convicted gangster who was sentenced for the kidnapping of a woman and for his involvement in prostitution, as well as for brutally abusing women. This information was shared by Cezary Tomczyk, the Deputy Minister of National Defense.
