Polish citizens who obtained voting certificates ahead of the May 18 first-round presidential election can use the same documents to cast their ballots in the second round on June 1, according to the foreign ministry.
No additional registration is required for those already listed in consular voter rolls, officials have said.
Justyna Chrzanowska, the ministry's election coordinator, said that these certificates are universally accepted, allowing holders to vote at any polling station worldwide.
Registration deadlines
For individuals planning to vote abroad for the first time in the runoff, registration is open until Tuesday, May 27.
Alternatively, voters can request a voting certificate by Thursday, May 29, enabling them to vote at any location.
The number of overseas polling stations will remain consistent with the first round, totaling 511.
The ministry advises voters to avoid last-minute registrations to prevent potential complications.
Additionally, officials clarified that ballots used abroad do not feature the clipped corner found on domestic ballots, affirming their validity.
