EU-Canada: the way is clear for cooperation on defence

The European Union and Canada are already linked by a trade agreement. Faced with threats from Donald Trump, who wants to annex Canada and is increasingly distancing himself from NATO, Brussels and Ottawa are stepping up their defence cooperation.
