They were flown home on 237 flights on Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Boeing 737-800 and Embraer planes, state news agency PAP reported.
On Tuesday, the tenth day of the operation to bring Poles home from abroad, 11 special flights were planned to Poland, including from Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town, Cancun and London.
All passengers returning to Poland as part of the operation have their temperature taken and then have to undergo a 14-day quarantine.
Poland has declared a “state of epidemic" and temporarily closed its borders to non-residents in a move to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
It suspended scheduled international passenger air connections on March 15.
Authorities reported on Tuesday that another patient had died in Poland after contracting the coronavirus, bringing the country’s death toll to nine.
