Unexploded WWII bomb found in Warsaw

Hundreds of people are being evacuated after an unexploded World War II bomb has been found at a Warsaw metro construction site.

According to Warsaw police, the 2 meters long bomb weighs around 250 kg.

Over 1500 residents from eight nearby buildings in the Polish capital’s Bródno district were scheduled to be evacuated on Sunday morning.

Bomb disposal experts have secured the ordnance on Saturday evening and are to transport it out of the city on Sunday.
