Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin said on Tuesday he wanted all retail outlets, gyms and restaurant gardens to be allowed to reopen from May 4.
Gowin, who is also minister of development, labour and technology, added that he was in favour of allowing hotels to open to half capacity on the same date.
He said he would propose such moves at a meeting of a government crisis management team on Wednesday.
Poland on Monday eased coronavirus restrictions in regions with fewer COVID cases. Beauty parlours and hairdressers in such areas were allowed to reopen. Meanwhile, a system of mixed on-site and online education was brought in for younger pupils in 11 provinces.
A swathe of restrictions was maintained in provinces with a higher number of COVID cases, including the densely populated southern coal-mining region of Silesia, and the central Łódzkie region.
Poland on Tuesday reported 5,709 new coronavirus infections and 460 more deaths, bringing the country's total number of cases during the pandemic to 2,768,034 and fatalities to 65,897.
