Packages containing cocaine were found in boxes with bananas by staff at a supermarket in Warsaw.
Spokesman for the capital's police, Sylwester Marczak, told Polish Television's information channel TVP Info that over 160 kilogrammes of cocaine was found in the consignment of bananas by the Warsaw drug squad.
As he said, the packages had been hidden in very large boxes, adding it was unlikely that any more of the drugs would be found at another shop of the supermarket chain.
He also said that already this year Warsaw police had seized over half a tonne of drugs, valued at over 30 PLN million.
