Meanwhile, a proposed set of changes to Poland’s rules of the road would allow for up to a tenfold increase in maximum fines for various traffic offences.
“The key thing is to make sure that people drive safely,” said Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk.
“There’s no tolerance for reckless driving, especially under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” he added.
