The survey, commissioned by the Super Express tabloid, found that 75 percent of Poles have helped or are helping refugees who flee the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the state PAP news agency reported.

Prof. Kazimierz Kik, a political scientist, told Super Express that such outpouring of support was “absolutely unique” and “not found anywhere else.”

The survey was conducted between March 2 and 3, 2022 by the Pollster research institute on a sample of 1,041 Polish adults.

Thursday is day fifteen of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24.

Poland on Wednesday reported it had admitted 1,330,000 people fleeing the Russian attack on Ukraine.
