During the gathering in Košice, the prime ministers of Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary are expected to discuss the situation in Ukraine and energy security, officials told reporters.

The Polish prime minister's office said ahead of the talks that migration and regional cooperation were also among the key topics to be discussed.

Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary together form the four-nation Visegrad Group (V4), a regional cooperation platform that they started in 1991.
