RADIO POLAND celebrates World Radio Day

Radio Poland's Danuta Isler joined the debate of editors from English language services of Radio Prague, Radio Romania International, Swiss Info and Radio Canada International to debate the role of radio broadcasters as moderators of discussion and producers of relevant fact-based, impartial content.

World Radio Day is an annual celebration of the special role of radio as a means of communication. Established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), the day has been celebrated each February 13 since 2013. The theme for this year’s celebration is Radio and Peace.
