Stationing Hercules and Casa aircraft in Crete, the operation remains active, poised to execute additional evacuations if required, the General Command’s Deputy Spokesperson, Lt. Col. Magdalena Busz, has said in a statement. Through an established "air bridge" linking Tel Aviv and Warsaw via Crete, the military has navigated disrupted commercial air routes caused by the recent conflict.

Polish President Andrzej Duda lauded the efforts of the soldiers, pilots, and rescuers. While 1,504 individuals have been safely evacuated, with crews navigating over 42,000 kilometers in more than 160 air hours, Operation NEON maintains a standby status, ready to proceed with further evacuations and assist other nationals as the volatile situation unfolds.
