The "Safe Money" campaign, led by the NGO Think! Foundation, aims to educate the public on how to identify and avoid common types of cyber fraud, including phishing and social engineering attacks.

"Cyberattacks and scams targeting financial and personal data have become so widespread that cybersecurity experts are sounding the alarm," said Anna Bichta, head of the Think! Foundation.

"The only remedy for financial scams is education, improving digital literacy and raising consumer awareness," she added.

The campaign warns that financial fraud most often occurs through phone calls, text messages, emails and social media.

The initiative is designed to support, inspire and inform the public amid a growing number of digital threats, according to Bichta.

The campaign is built around real-life stories of individuals who have fallen victim to online scams. These personal accounts serve as building blocks for a more informed and resilient society, Bichta said.

The initiative is supported by Poland’s finance ministry and the NASK cybersecurity research institute.
