Jill Biden, who is supporting her husband President Joe Biden during his cancer treatment, attended a charity event in Poland for the first time.
The event was organised by Omenaa Mensah, a popular Polish weather presenter, businesswoman, and philanthropist, who is married to Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost, one of Poland’s leading logistics and parcel delivery companies.

The gala attracted Polish celebrities such as TV personality Małgorzata Rozenek and explorer Martyna Wojciechowska, as well as former US ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski.
During her visit to Warsaw, the former First Lady also met with Poland’s First Lady, Agata Duda, at the presidential palace to discuss future plans.
As Mensah wrote on Instagram, Jill Biden’s presence was “not only a great honor but also a powerful inspiration for all of us who believe that meaningful change begins with education, collaboration, and the courage to take action.”

Will Smith performs at gala, meets Wałęsa during visit
The following day, the charity campaign concluded with the elegant TOP Charity Auction gala, which also included an art sale. Smith made a surprise appearance on stage, performing a song.
He later revealed on social media that, during his first-ever visit to Poland, he had the chance to meet Solidarity legend Lech Wałęsa.
Reflecting on the encounter, Smith said it was likely the first time he had met someone he once studied in school. He thanked Wałęsa - a former president and Nobel Peace Prize laureate - for taking the time to meet with him.
The sky is the limit: Polish charity auction raises over €13 million
“We’re grateful we had the chance to talk and share a moment together. Thank you for being part of our event and the TOP Charity Auction 2025,” Mensah added after the event.

In an earlier post, she praised the event’s impact: “As you can see, the sky is the limit! The numbers keep growing and philanthropy is spreading worldwide - a true game changer! Thanks to the brand The Dictator, Will Smith appeared at the gala.”
Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost, hailed the event as a record-breaking success.
“The fourth edition of TOP CHARITY 2025 has grown into the largest charity event in Europe, and I’m proud that this idea originated in Poland,” he said.
“Yesterday, during a 90-minute art auction filled with emotion, we raised over 28 million PLN (€6.56 million). Following our personal pledge to double the amount, the final total surpassed 57 million PLN (€13.36 million), enabling vital support for tens of thousands of people - up from 48 million PLN last year.”
“Once again, Polish businesses have demonstrated great generosity,” Brzoska added. “Helping truly makes a difference.”
