The four-member crew returned from the International Space Station after completing their mission. Upon re-entry, communication was successfully established with the Dragon capsule crew. SpaceX’s recovery ship retrieved the capsule from the ocean.

The astronauts were then transported by helicopter to the space center in Houston, where Uznański-Wiśniewski is expected to spend two hours.

From Houston, he will fly to Cologne, Germany, to the European Astronaut Centre for a week-long medical quarantine under supervision.

"Welcome home,” the European Space Agency wrote, welcoming the Polish astronaut and the Ax-4 crew back to Earth.

This footage shows the Axiom-4 Dragon capsule streaking across the sky shortly before it splashed down in the Pacific Ocean on Tuesday.
