On Tuesday, 15 July, a charter plane departed Poland carrying 27 Georgian citizens and 13 Moldovans, government spokesperson Adam Szłapka announced.
The forced deportation was carried out from the airport in Radom, in central Poland.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that since the beginning of 2025, more than 4,600 foreign nationals have left Poland either voluntarily or under compulsion.
According to the Border Guard, “Among the Georgians, 20 individuals received compulsory return orders on grounds of national defense or the protection of public safety and order.”
In the case of the Moldovan citizens, nine men were deported. One Georgian national had 12 criminal convictions for theft, while other foreigners were detained for offenses including driving under the influence and unlawful stay in Poland.
Authorities said the group also included accomplices and organizers of illegal border crossings, as well as individuals who had altered their personal data in order to re-enter the country.
