According to the survey, 72.3% support firing on intruding Russian military aircraft — 38.1% “definitely” and 34.2% “rather” in favor. Opposition totals 16.7%, with 4.6% “definitely” against and 12.1% “rather” against, while 11% are undecided.

Views vary by political leaning. Left-wing voters are the most supportive, with about 95% in favor and roughly 4% “rather” against shooting down Russian planes over Poland and other NATO countries. Among centrist and liberal groups, 65% of ruling Civic Coalition (KO) voters and 60% of centrist Third Way supporters say the military should fire; 20% of KO and 36% of Third Way voters oppose.

On the right, 77% of main opposition party, the conservative Law and Justice (PiS), voters back downing intruders, with 14% opposed. Among far-right Confederation supporters, 67% are in favor and around 10% are against, Radio ZET reported.

IBRiS conducted the poll for Radio ZET via CATI on September 26–27 on a representative sample of 1,073 adults in Poland.
