The Polish President’s Office said it had proposed Friday, December 19, as the date for the visit, with "details currently being finalised."
The spokesman for President Nawrocki, Rafał Leśkiewicz, said the meeting would centre on key bilateral and regional matters, including "security, economic and historical issues."
The announcement comes as peace negotiations over Russia's war in Ukraine continue to evolve, with Western and Ukrainian leaders engaged in talks aimed at securing a ceasefire and a durable settlement.
Zelensky confirmed the planned visit on Sunday.
Speaking to journalists, he said Poland had suggested December 19 as the date and that Kyiv saw no reason to postpone the trip.
"For us, it is very important to maintain relations between Ukraine and Poland," Zelensky said, according to the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
