The programme began with a formal welcome ceremony, followed by a private one-on-one discussion between the two leaders.

Following the bilateral talks, plenary discussions involving both delegations are taking place.

Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosacki is participating after receiving a last-minute invitation from the presidential office, ensuring the foreign ministry is represented.

Zelensky’s programme in Warsaw also includes meetings with parliamentary leaders.

At 1:10pm, he is scheduled to meet Włodzimierz Czarzasty, speaker of the Sejm (the lower house of Poland’s parliament), and Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, speaker of the Senate (the upper house), followed by a visit to a memorial commemorating MPs who were killed or perished during World War II.

At 4:00pm, he is set to hold talks with Prime Minister Donald Tusk upon the latter’s return from the EU summit in Brussels.
